City Year Washington, D.C.

City Year DC has 55 corps members and serves in 8 DC public and charter Ƶ supporting 2000 students annually.

We are working to address the lack of equitable access to educational opportunities. Our City Year Washington, D.C. AmeriCorps members partner with teachers and Ƶ to add more support and to help create learning environments where all students can build on their strengths and fully engage in their learning.

We support organizations that can teach kids to think outside of the box, to really achieve and know that they can own their future. I like to be cutting edge, and I support City Year because it’s an entrepreneurial organization. CY thinks of ways to help students and reach them in different ways.
