April 28, 2020 – Four Ways You Can Support City Year Philadelphia
As I write to you, I’m reflecting on all that hasoccurredin the past month. The times are truly unprecedented, yet I stand in awe of the humanity and kindness that surround us.
I also write to you with an exciting update. As the Philadelphia School District transitions into virtual learning, CYP AmeriCorps members and staff are preparing to support students in their distance learning alongside our school partners. We’re ecstatic to reconnect with students, teachers, and school communities.
As you know, the welfare of AmeriCorps members and staff remains our guiding priorities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and time away from Ƶ. Today, I want to share four easy ways you can support this mission. Below you will find more information about each opportunity.
Thank you for all you do and will continue to do in support of our beloved community.
